Enhanced Volume Label

Enhanced Volume Label is a comprehensive volume statistics panel that displays multi-timeframe volume metrics in a clean, always-visible overlay on your chart. The indicator presents three lines of information: current price data (OHLC values), daily volume statistics (30-day average, today's cumulative volume, and today's percentage of the 30-day average), and bar-level metrics (30-bar average volume, current bar volume with percentage of average, and the sell pressure percentage).

The 30-day average daily volume provides essential context for understanding whether the current session is running hot or quiet relative to recent history. When today's volume significantly exceeds the average, it often indicates heightened market participation associated with trending moves, news events, or institutional repositioning. Conversely, below-average volume days tend to produce more choppy, range-bound price action. This awareness helps traders calibrate their expectations and adjust position sizing accordingly.

At the bar level, the indicator calculates real-time volume metrics that update on every tick. The 30-bar average provides short-term context specific to your chart's timeframe, while the current bar's percentage of that average highlights when unusual activity is occurring. The sell pressure percentage - calculated as (High - Close) / (High - Low) - reveals the internal dynamics of each candle, showing whether buyers or sellers dominated regardless of whether the bar closed up or down.

The display uses intelligent color-coding based on configurable thresholds: green highlights unusual volume exceeding the threshold (default 200% of average), orange indicates above-average but not extreme volume (100%+), and red flags when sell pressure exceeds 50%. All visual elements are customizable including font family, size, background color, border color, text colors, and panel position with pixel-level offset adjustment. The indicator uses optimized SharpDX rendering with cached resources for smooth, flicker-free display.
