Volume Stack Lite answers that question instantly with a unique stacked visualization that shows buying and selling pressure on every bar, with the winner always on top.

Volume Stack Lite uses a distinctive visual approach that eliminates guesswork. On every bar, the dominant side's color fills the majority of the volume bar, while the losing side appears as a smaller portion stacked on top. When buyers control a bar, you see a tall green section with a small red cap. When sellers dominate, red takes over with green pushed to the top. This stacking logic means you never have to interpret—the winner is immediately obvious at any glance across your chart.

The on-chart label reinforces the visual message with precise percentages. But here's what makes it different: the winning percentage always appears first. When buyers control 65% of volume, you see "65.2% | 34.8%" in green. When sellers take over, the display flips to show their percentage first in red. This rotating format means the larger number is always on the left, matching the visual dominance you see in the bars. Your brain processes the information faster because the format itself communicates direction.

The indicator estimates buying and selling pressure using a proven method based on where price closes within each bar's range. When price closes near the high, buyers were in control and most volume is attributed to buying pressure. When price closes near the low, sellers dominated the action. A close in the middle splits the volume evenly. This calculation runs on every bar, giving you a continuous read on the balance of power between buyers and sellers.
